A few new odds and ends....

Picked these up from a friend. Not a particular bargain, but I really wanted another pair of 802-8G's with Tangerine phase plugs. And got the 511's, 816's and tweeter cabs thrown in on the deal......

I haven't had pro style type cabinets before either. Anyone want to hazard a guess what this pile o mess is ballpark worth???

I guess you could easily put a value on the drivers and horns. What is not so easy is to value the road cabs. If you had to build them, the expense would be considerable but as a used item and of particular use, defining a value won't be easy. To a musician wanting vintage Altec PA, they might command a good price. To just an Altec collector or user, not so much. I would think the woofer and horn cabs add to the component value in excess of $300. In addition, the tweeter cabs also add value but I'm unsure about that.

value is a hard thing.

I would say 400 or so on the horns, possibly 450, they are g's. Maybe a couple hundred for the cabs. About two bucks for the junk tweeters. Those peizos can be bought for a buck or two each and that's a horrible cab design....they aren't even better quality peizos.

So a pretty easy 600, maybe even 700.

Cab corners a little rough, but black is nice.
Are the 511 cabinets homemade, or ?

Don't know about the HF drivers, and was thinking you were asking w/o them (keeping them).

I'd say $300 w/o the 802-8G HF drivers would sell them quickly enough.

Location is a determinant.
